Maybe I'll take in Musée D'Orsay or something.
The big focus for this week is to get strong and get ready to climb. In four days, I head here:
I know what you're thinking. It's really gonna suck being around all that warmth, palm trees, water, and sun.I think my calves are ready for me to go running again (I've been hobbling for a couple of days). For now, I'll hobble down stairs and warm up my quiche that I bought at the boulangerie this morning.
J'ai faim!
PS. J'ai decouvert un groupe incroyable de Cuba/Paris. Ils s'appelle "Orishas." Check them out at www.orishasthebest.com. The El Kilo album is amazing. Listen to it online.
C'est tout.

Coucou!
C'est pas mal 'Orishas'. Pas mal du tout même! Ma chanson préférée, c'est 'Naci Orishas'.
J'ai pas tout écouté bien sur, mais jusqu'à présent, je trouve ça super top! ;o)
Prend bien soin de toi.

when i first went running a bit more than a year ago my calves freakin' killed the next day. i was an idiot, however, and thought they were just sore from lactic acid or something. well, that whole lactic acid buildup story is a myth and is in no way responsible for the pain i felt.
i went running the day after in an attempt to stretch out my legs and hopefully get them to feel normal again. as you probably can guess, not only was it a miserable failure but it hurt like freakin' hell the whole time. i kept waiting for it to get better but it never did (during that 2nd run).
time cures all... :)
Yeah, my legs are better now. I'm pretty sure that my legs weren't sore from the lactic acid. I think it has more to do with my muscles not understanding, or agreeing with what they had to do. Running is very foreign to them...DKS
What a tough life. You make teachers seem like workaholics (and we get amost 3 months of holidays a year!).
